Found another way to print multiple copies. When the print dialogue box
comes up I go to where it says "printer", I hit the page down button
once and hit the delete key, then I type in the number of copies that I
want to print and then hit the "enter" key (not the return key). I have
also had VO go off for no reason that I can figure out and the only way
that I have been able to get it to come back on is with sighted help.
This has also happened to one of my friends and she has no sighted help
available. Is there a way to turn it back on without help? Thanks.

Yeah, but what about when you've closed the message? If I deleet
without closing tipically using "command and deleet" keys, it either
focuses at the top or more likely at the bottom of the list of
messages. Same if I move an opened message over to another box. If the
message is closed first though focuswill either be lined up on the
previous message in the list of messages or the next one down will come
into focus. But in those ways it is consistant as to where focus winds
up.
But of course as we all know there is more one way to do most
everything using VO. So it stands that there's more than one way to get
to a message, read it, deleet it with message open, and what the focus
reaction might be.
