The problem here is this. My keyboard is typically mapped to use the Dvorak layout since it's a lot nicer for touchtyping. VoiceOver doesn't respect that. It still wants the letters for its ' commands in the qwerty locations. There is no way that I know of to change that. This is a standard keymap that is available on everybody's computer. All other screenreaders that I've used in other OS' will take their commands from the keymap the user has selected. My choice of keymap should not interfere with the screenreader. See the thread in the archives awhile ago. I'm sure it's there. Still haven't found a solution to this.
