Cheryl, now that's interesting, icon, column, or list mode, I hadn't
thought of that, but will have to test that out. I can't imagine why
it should matter, but since I use column mode all the time now
instead of icon, well its possible, but strange in any event.

behave differently depending on whether you are in list mode, icon
mode, or column mode though copying from the desktop should be
pretty straightforward. The appliction Jerry mentions is ok but for
now I prefer to do it this way; probably just habit.
