Thanks Jane. We're working on something that would allow voice
control of katieplayer for those with mobility problems. It's not a
huge development deal...it uses Mac OS X's built-in speech
recognition capability. This seems like a good time to try to get it
out there. It should be a pretty robust solution but there needs to
be some real world testing. Perhaps Uncle Pete (forgive referring to
him colloquially) would be interested in trying it out (as can
anybody else on the list that's interested). Development is always
rewarding and exciting when there is an immediate need driving it.
This is a good opportunity. I'll speed up the voice control thing and
send word back when ready.
Oh, and Jane...happy you didn't have to reinstall katieplayer stuff
after archive and re-install. Now we know for sure. :-)

Speaking of RFB&D, your uncle may want to consider a membership.
They have books he can get on CD that ... yep, work with
KatiePlayer and a uak that you can buy spearately from RFB&D.
Um, now that I think about it, Joe will have to figure out how well
it will work with iListen and so on...
