Hi Dennis,
I don't think that this issue is limited to Cepstral voices. I have
noted similar concerns with Apple's voices and I believe that there
is mention of it way back in the archives. Good luck finding it but
I'm sure that it's there somewhere. The only thing that I've found
to work consistently is to turn off VO and then turn it right back on
again using cmd+f5. Other things have worked occasionally but not
consistently. You can confirm that it is the same issue when
attempting to navigate the Dock by the clicking noise. I believe
that VO somehow loses focus or some other thing that is beyond me
happens to VO and it just doesn't work properly. I don't believe
that refreshing the screen would actually do anything if it could be
done anyway. My Dock is set to be hidden most of the time unless VO
brings it up or the mouse is moved to the bottom of the screen and I
still get the problem occasionally.
Just something I've learned to live with.
