Hi Cheryl,
When you save your script as "Run only":
In the "Save As" dialog, make sure you change file fromat from
"script" to "application". This is done in the pop-up menu just after
the "File Format:" label. After that, you should have what you want.
Hope that helps,
Joe

Ok, I'm really ticked!!!
I saved my scripts last night as "run only" after also saving them
as text--I am getting a little smarter!!! But now when I click on
the scripts I just get complaints from script editor about not
being able to open them. well, I know it can't open them; I want to
run them!!! I've tried double-clicking them; I've tried to look in
the contextual menu for a "run script" option--thought I saw that
somewhere once but can't find it now. Unless I figure this out, my
only option is to assign them keys via spark and then they'll run
fine. Anybody know a solution to this problem?
