Sorry please ignore the last incomplete email. It's late over here and I'm
being tired and clumsy. Heres the correct email in full.

Hi,

There isn't any thing comparable to Sonar on the Mac that is VO friendly.
It's all very depressing. Programs such as Digital Performer from MOTu,
Cubase from Steinberg, Traction from Mackie, ProTools from Digidesign and
even Logic from Apple
them selves are completely inaccessible with Voice OVer. Apple say that
the developers them selves should make there programs Voice Over compatible
but the manufacturers of the software have know reason what so ever to spend
time effort and money on making there programs accessible to a miniscule
minority.

You may ask why Apple should make a screen reader that doesn't work with the
majority of cross platform software products. Well, that's what I'd like to
ask them at least.

Sorry for a pretty negative reply. I wish I could be more cheerful. There
are some small time products that could be useful but they don't have the
power and flexibility of the big sequencing products. The one that is
accessible to VO that I can think of off the top of my head is Audacity.
There was another simple multi track recorder that Jerry found a wile back
as well.

Hope that helps.

Will
