Well, yes, in linux, speakup for instance, and brltty also have you
set to do it in speech, reads the output--does that have something to
do with tty echo? I might not be right about that. And when you ssh
into a Mac from a linux machine with brltty or speakup, meaning you
aren't using the terminal application itself but you are using the
command line, the output shows up in braille or is read in speech. So
it would seem that should be a reasonable thing to do in the terminal
application. I'm a little surprised that a way to do this wasn't
incorporated into vo.
