Jane,

When mail goes out to get mail, it usually downloads any mail that has not prevviously been downloaded. This leads me to wonder whether somehow this mail has somehow already been processed. Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to download mail which has already been processed. In other words, if you have mail set to leave a copy of messages on the server, it will only download new mail. It might be possible to edit the mail.plist to reset the index. The only way I have been able to correct mail indexing issues is to delete the account and set it up again. You need to be careful though that your messages are not sccrapped along with the account.

Jane,

You might need to try usingg another putter for this or have someone do it for you and then zip them into a file and send them to you. The question that needs answering though is why are they on the server and how do we get them downloaded in the future?

I've figured out my problem with Mail, but I am still trying to figure out how to solve it.

The emails I want are still oon my server--they were not being pulled down., How can I re-download all of these emails in Mail without starting over? Any ideas?

I am using Apple Mail.

Jane
