Yes, in some cases that isn't even possible. Java says busy so I
switch to Finder for example and bring up the "force quit" screen and
sometimes its not listed in the table. I wonder if this is because
I've already tried quiting it so the although its or at least the
Java app is running, the os assumes its quit and doesn't register it.
I don't know, but perhaps what I'll do next time is just force quit
the app without trying to close it first and see if that makes a
difference.
