Hi,
Wait! Textedit has been represented as an option to use as a word
processor, and you cannot add footnotes or end notes, and I take it no
headers either? Nor can you keep track of page numbers?
I am mystified how apple can claim that one can use this alongside
co-workers if the basic tools or some of them for say a wordperfect are
not included?

Hello Jane,
Is there a way to add footnotes or endnotes to documents?
Sorry, can't find a way to do this.
Is there a way to tell how many pages I have filled?
You can make TextEdit organise the document into pages by setting "Wrap to
page" in the window menu, but it won't tell you how many there are.
How do I increase font size if need be?
Command-plus will increase the font size by 1 point,
Command-minus will decrease it by one point.
