Subject: My Experience with Upgrading to OS X 4.6
Hi everyone,
After reading the messages about the 4.6 update, this is what I
did and I didn't have any problems at all.
1. Initiated the download of the OS upgrade.
2. Did the first Restart when prompted.
3. Waited till the next automatic restart, but listened to the
hard drive's activity.
4. Listened to the disk activity till it stopped indexing. This
took several minutes. However, the log in prompt came up about 2
minutes before the HD activity stopped.
5. I then logged in without any problems and I didn't need to use
Command F5 to start VO at any point.
HTH.
Dan
