Hi Matthew,

For a Windows keyboard, I believe it is as follows:

CTRL is is CTRL
Start key is Command or Apple key
Alt key is Option

VO keys is CTRL+option. Use the VO keys in conjunction with left and right arrows to navigate through the installer and VO keys+space to activate a button.

Use cmd+f5 to start VO right after the DVD stops spinning for the first time or listen for the audible message which tells you about using VoiceOver if you're in need of it. In fact, you can press cmd +f5 just about anytime after that and VO will work for you.
