Thought I put my two penny's worth in!

I lecture Music Technology at the Royal National College the Blind (Will,
will know me).

Boot Camp couldn't have come at such a good time. At the moment I'm fighting
with Caketalking and Sonar 5 and ultimately want to switch from our current
set of PC to Mac's, that won't happen fully until Pro Tools and the like come
across to our way of thinking. In the mean time with boot camp we can know
slowly move over without the cost of the totally Blind being left out. This
is perfect.

Apple isn't stupid they know what they're doing, and I know the Mac, both
Hardware and Software is safe in their Hands.

Hi
I have just installed XP on my iMac along with Jaws 7.1 and an alva
544 braille display. (why do I feel so unclean ?)It runs fast, very
fast but I will have to see how well it continues to go. I have even
experienced the ultimate windows experience, managed to get it to
blue screen when I tried to access the inbuilt camera (I do these
silly things as I am sighted) I must say though at first impression
things seem to be running really well (for windows that is)
The dual booting startup may be a problem though, I couldnt get it to
speak (not a surprise really as there is no OS loaded at that point)
so picking the startup drive in system preferences and rebooting may
be the only viable option.
I believe this will convince a great many users, sighted and vision
impaired to risk the move to Apple, which can only be a good thing,
after all once the users experience OSX i doubt they will want to run
XP if it can be avoided. I for one will be scrapping my Windows PC at
home now.
