Both the old and new Mac minis have audio out it is a eighth inch
connecter.
Don't know about sub for Macs older than G4.

The new Mac Intel Mac mini has audio in/out. You would use the audio
in for a microphone and adjust volumes accordingly. The Power Mac or
the Older Macmmini does not have audio in, so you will need to use
some kind of usb audio interface like the iMic adapter.
