Maybe one of you, especially if you have sighted help, can help with
this. I can't access the 2006 Major League baseball archives. I can
access the 2005 archives and I can access 2006 archives if the link
is still up from earlier that day. I go to the major league site; I
now have to go to the narrow band site because the audio blurb that
used to load doesn't any more but just drives my mac mini fan running
and safari going busy--argh!!! I go to gameday audio and then to on
demand. I then go to "html version". But when I get there, the game
links are still up from the 2005 world series. there are date popup
boxes for both gameday audio and mlb tv there; I can change the month
and the day but the only option available for year is 2005. I have
called MLB three times about this!!! Each time I was on hold for an
hour. Two of those times I was told a mac person would call me back;
it never happened!!! The other time the tech insisted that he could
get to the 2006 archives so I should be able to do it; told me to
shut my machine down and restart it in a few minutes; that of course
accomplished nothing with this problem. I then emailed mlb and got a
stupid email back saying I should call the support number because I
couldn't be helped by email--I'm not calling and sitting there on
hold for ANOtHER hour just to get no help!!! Btw, I do now have
flip4mac working but I also went back and tried it with wmp, though
that should have had no bearing on this problem. Just covering the
bases and I was right; it made no difference.
If somebody using MLB has figured this out I'd like to know. If
somebody wants to look at this and doesn't have MLB, you don't need
to log in to get that far.
Thanks.
