How is your Latin? Post hoc ergo propter hoc. To be clear...what Jane describes is something that would only have to be done if you have more general, systemic problems with your Mac - unrelated to katieplayer (the katieplayer misbehavior being just the symptom of a larger problem). katieplayer is a simple application, installs only a few files in your account Home folder, does not install any other software or system files and is just not capable of causing that kind of mayhem. In some rare cases, corrupted preferences are a problem but this simply involves deleting the prefs files - a common Mac problem/ solution.
