In case this has not already been covered, it can be fixed in desktop and screen saver prefs. There's a couple of sliders in there but I don't remember how to work them.

You can also fix this with vokeys+shift+f11.

You talking about Mac OS Tiger right?

Well, I've fixed this problem, can't remember exactly how its done but I think you have to go into energy Saver under system preferences, somewhere in there you'll find a Screen Savers button and you'll be able to fix the problem in there.

Hey folks. How do I tell tiger not to go into screen saver while audio is playing. I am gonna ruine my moniter with as many times as it goes into screen saver mode within an hour. I'm currently listening to something in Itunes,so it shouldn't be considered ital. This is so annoying. Especially when I'm watching something on google video, which has a lower volume, and during the film, even when I'm watching a dvd,it says "Screen Saver On." If I have the volume up, voiceover is completely distracting. Any thoughts?
