Well I can answer the first question only, I think that Macamp is
very accessible, tracks in a playlist are displayed in a table so in
order to play a specific track in a playlist, you need to scroll to
it, you can use the arrow keys for this and when you get to the track
you want then move the mouse to it with VO-Command-f5 and double-
clickk, the track will start playing. Normally when play is pressed
Macamp starts playing from the begining of the loaded playlist,
Macamp has global hotkeys for play/pause, stop, next and previous
tracks which I've found helpful. Amongst the many plug-ins that
Macamp has is the Highjack plug-in.
Where do you get it? Well, a friend of mine gave it to me so I'm not
much help am I <smile>.

OK, I know we've discussed this, but I dont' remember.
Is HighJack Audio the onoly program that I can us for recording
stuff from the Mac's speakers? For instance, say I am streaming
NPR and want to record it to listen to later or something--is
that the only program that's relatively cheap that will let me do
that, or is there something that's free that I don't knowabout
that I can use as well?
