Hi. OK, as I said yesterday, I went and bought Toast 7 from the Sonic Solutions on-line store. I installed it earlier, and I have to say that I am very impressed with both what it offers and how easy it is to use. The fact that you can schedule backups to go to CD or DVD is also a very nice feature. It will produce a lot of different formats of DVD/CD compilations as well, including HFS and ISO9660. First impressions ... it's much more accessible than the latest Roxio/ Sonic Solutions offerings for Windows are. So anybody looking for a comprehensive CD/DVD writing package for Mackintosh computers need look no further than Toast. It appears to use completely standardised controls, so VO gets along fine with it. The only thing I'd like to have seen them do is to add help tags to some of the buttons. Other than this, it's fine.
