Hi!

I'm just wondering about a few technical points of my Ibook.

Firstly, what's the input voltage of the power adaptor socket on the Mac.

Second, the battery seems to have multiple terminals and I can only assume from this that the battery gives out multiple voltages, why does it need to do this when the power adaptor only needs to give out one voltage to supply the Ibook.

And finally, the battery of my Ibook has one of those buttons on it, when pressed 5 lights I think it is light up the bottom surface of the battery to indicate that its fully charged, would this function work if the battery was out of the machine? If it didn't that this would account for 1 or 2 of the multiple contacts on the battery.
