Ah, well there was no security image etc. when I signed up so perhaps
they have made some changes. Guess I'll find out if my account all
the sudden quits working.
tnx

Hi Scott,
I really don't know if there was a way around the security image
unless Jabber changed the way they do it. So you actually log into
Jabber with iChat and have an account? This would be where you
start. I have the message Saqib posted a while back, but I don't
recall if it shed any additional light. I know that I ported in my
contacts directly from my address-book and had to add some kind of
additional part to their addresses to designate them as msn
contacts. However, like I said, this was a long time ago.

John, you know I signed up via Jabber, but for some reason I
either couldn't find the correct forum or signup location or I
managed to avoid the digital image business. I could be completely
wrong, but looking over the tutorial I am sure I did what I was to
do. Btw, couldnt' quite figure out the msn messenger bit, I have
one friend who uses that, but I wasn't sure when going to the page
where you apparently add them if I was entering their info or mine.

Hi Hank,
I am using iChat with MSN. You first need to set up a Jabber
account prior to being able to use MSN. All of the information
can be found at,
www.jabber.org.au
Note that you will probably need sighted help as I recall the
sign up process for Jabber involved one of those image security
code annoyances.
