Hi Will. I have a student who I just finished with who is using the IBook
you mension. It's really fine. I did find sometimes I got a busy in mail
but nothing crippling. I think the IBook actually is a nice machine and you
t=won't have any problems. My student uses Internet, Mail, Text edit for
small papers and IChat and really enjoys using the Mac. Okay! she is 10
years old and thinks it's cool that she has a laptop and can go anyware with
it. I would suggest that if you have the opportunity put as much memmory as
you can in the thinkg. It will run on 256 but 512 certainly helps move
thinkgs along a bit. Enjoy the machine.

Does anyone use the IBook g4 1.2 GHZ machine with Tiger 10.4 or higher?
I know it is not the fastest machine but does it still perform well?
