Can't answer that but I do believe that the keyboard has been
redesigned for the Macbook and Macbook Pro.

My Ibook spends much of its time on the computer desk in the back
room which is near my bed and its connected to my Panasonic
RXED50 which has an Auxilary input though I plan to get a
bluetooth keyboard as its not too easy typing on an Ibook whilst
lying in bed and there's always the possability that the Ibook
may go for a slide onto the floor which wouldn't be too healthy
for the machine. The Ibook also spends allot of its time sitting
on this authors lap whilst he lounges comfortably on his couch in
his lounge room, its a great machine to type on as I've already
mentioned though I sometimes wish the battery life was a little
longer, when I'm sitting on the aforementioned couch the Ibook
has to be run on its battery as I don't have an AC wall outlet
near me. Oh and I forgot to mention, thank goodness for the
airport facility.

You know I was considering getting one of those new Mac Books,
but I sure wouldn't mind having an Ibook here as a secondary
machine I could sit on my deck or take on the road.

Hi Tim,
A small correction, I purchased my I-Book G4 last January and
the processor
is of course not Intel but the speed is 1.33 with a 12.1 inch
display.
Take care,
John but a little side note, I have had no issues with the I-
Book, runs
very well even on 512 megs of ram which will be upgraded to 1.5
gigs soon.

Hi,
The iBooks ran either a 1.2 GHz or 1.42 GHz G4 processor. They
were
not INTEL processors and therefore don't run XP like their MacBook
cousin. they were nice little units with the same processor
power as
the MacMini and many a person on this list have had great success
with these machines.
