I'd guess it's a difference in the way explorer and safari handle the style sheets. I couldn't find anything directly concerning the energy link, but I've not looked at all their style sheets yet. But if I had to guess, since they use a lot of html shorthand, to insert text into the page (just like text edit does when you build an html page using it) and they use a lot of javascript, my guess is that between the style elements, and the javascript, interpretation of those elements are causing the different behavior. Try using netscape on the pc, and see what it says, it is likely to agree with safari, but that's only a guess. I'll keep at this, though not tonight,, as I have to complete an assignment, but if I find out the reason, I'll let you know.

Hi all,

I've noticed that on:
http://www.mdtap.org
or any maryland site linked to the portal, there is a link which is expressed as "energy assistance" when viewed in ie in windows, but in safari, it is expressed as "energy". Is there a way to have this link expressed properly or is this the way it will be expressed due to browser behaviour? could VO be at issue here?

I cannot get the source of the actual code for this because it is apparently an include.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!
