Ok, typo there.
command-backspace dumps things in the trash.
command-shift-backspace empties trash.
command-option-backspace empties trash w/o prompting.
I thought command-option-backspace deleted files w/o putting them in  
the trash, but it didn't work for me, it still dumumped it in the  
trash.  I know I've deleted things w/o them going in the trash, it  
may be dependent on other factors.  Sorry for the confusion.
