Hi James,I suspect that it was simply "one bad Apple". Don't let it spoil the whole bunch. Sorry for the pun but I just couldn't resist. It could have been a number of things but I haven't heard anything down the pipes indicating that this is a common occurance. I would not be worried about the fate of your MacBook, you will most likely enjoy it for years without incident.
