On Blind Cool Tech, there is a review of a digital recorder. The
review sounds good. The u r l for Blind Cool Tech should be
www.blindcooltech.com
As to what format is used in recording, I know not that information.

Hi Fellow Mac users:
I have a question for you guys.
I recently started podcasting and am in the market for an easy to
use and high quality recorder to record interviews and
presentations that I am at. I’ve looked at some units from
Panasonic and have some reservations. For starters, they record in
Windows Media format and, that right there is concerning for me.
Is anyone aware of a digital recorder that will record in MP3
format or just straight audio that will be easy to plug in to my
Mac, pull the audio from and edit with Sound Studio? I don’t want
to mess with converting and all of that if I can help it as you
loose quality each time you do that. I want good battery life and
a few hours of recording time mainly. Most of all, I’m concerned
about the quality of the recording and how well it might do.
Thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
By the way, if you want to check out the podcast it’s at
www.disabilitynation.net and you can subscribe there or stream it.
Thanks.
