I wonder how well it will work with just the keyboards. It's *very*
tempting, but not sure I will go that route.

Hi all.
I found a program that is supposed to install and enale front row
on a non-intel mac mini. It does indeed add the app to /System/
Library/Core Services and I can see the front row shortcut key
(default is command escape) in the keyboard shortcuts outline in
System Preferences Keyboard and mouse. It does show a new checkbox
in sound under Sound Effects for front row sound effects. However,
when I hit command escape, nothing ahppens. What should ahppen?
Should I see a window somewhere? Is there perhaps a setting I need
to change or do I possibly need to have a monitor for this to work?
Or could there be a conflic with using command escape somewhere?
The website I found is
http://www.andrewescobar.com/frontrow
This isn't Apple-authorized and it does modify a couple of system
files so be careful; you are toldhow to restore those files if you
uninstall front row or somehow corrupt them. I'm a little unsure
about the ethics of this; front row won't work without the
modification of enabler but there isn't an option for getting the
modification directly from Apple. So I'm not sure if I should be
doing this since I'm basically trying to use an Apple app witout
buying the required Intel apple machine.
