To make a long story longer.  I think it would be respectful if  
said treatment and proposal could be in Spanish.  Are there any mac  
programs that can take a document and render it into Spanish with  
ease?

There are no reliable translation programmes anywhere in the world!  
The output from machine translations is always ridiculous and  
frequently misleading. You need a professional translator to do the  
work and beware of anyone charging less than 10 cents per word as  
they are unlikely to do a decent job. I am a professional translator  
and know what I am talking about. I can't help you with your problem  
as I translate from French into English.
