I don't know if you can turn it off, probably, but if you don't want
it's url, simply keep typing until you get the whole thing entered,
then hit the space bar. This will remove the rest of the link, and
you won't have to worry about deleting it manually.
It takes a little getting used to, but trust me, you'll grow to like
it. When you *just* can't remember that address, but it starts with
alpha. Lots of fun searching for urls that way sometimes. Oh yeah,
I forgot about that site, cool, let's go take a look to see what's
changed.
