For what it's worth, I would just say this. Remember that, should
you go the Mini route, you cannot easily upgrade its RAM, etc., if
you need to do so. With the IMac, you can do all the upgrading
yourself. I'm leaning towards the IMac now, having used a PowerPC
Mini since last August. Also, the IMac has more drive space
available as standard. As far as I'maware, the Mini's largest
capacity is 80GB. The top-end IMac comes with a 250GB hard drive.
Even the basic IMac comes with a 160GB drive I believe. And finally,
remember that the basic Mini has an Intel Solo processor, not a dual-
core. If you want the dual-core, you need the high-end model. May
as well put the exstra to it and go for the 17" IMac if you're gonna
do that. Just a few thoughts and ramblings.

Hi,
The Mac mini should work fine. I purchased mine with a full gig of
ram.
Later this your, I might purchase the new Mac mini, because I have
the PPC 1.42 GHz processor.
You should be able to do anything recording wise you want with the
new Mac mini.
The only thing I'd recommend is this. If you are not going to have
a monitor connected you might want to purchase the SVGA Composite
video adapter in place of a screen. In this way the computer will
think a monitor is really connected. This part is only about 20
dollars.
