I did see your message on this some days ago, if its not possible to
get sound out of the internal card of the Macbook when running
Windows XP then its the first I've heard of it though I cannot
confirm or deny, I'd be very surprised but there should be no reason
whatever why Windows XP shouldn't work with an external sound device,
on the proviso of course that Windows can find drivers for that
device <smile>
