problems clicking links in mail.

Hi guys.  I'm currently having a weird problem with mail.  For some  
reason when I try to click a link in mail it doesn't work.  I've  
tried hitting vo space tried clicking the mouse.  I've even tried  
interacting with the link and clicking it, I saw someone suggest that  
in the archives.  So far nothing seems to work.  I use live journal,  
and I was trying to click a link in he notification email they send  
when someone has commented on my journal entry.  But I couldn't click  
on the reply link.

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.
