You bet, if you do purchase anything, let me know how it turns out. A friend of mine has purchased batteries for his Ham radio gear and the prices were good and so was the service. I need to get some batteries for my gear as well so may be trying them soon.

Thank you, what a handy site! not just for Mac's but for all sorts of things.

That portable powerbase looks very nice.

You might want to check out http://www.batteriesamerica.com, they may have not only batteries, but chargers and the like. Nice folks, called to ask a couple of questions and they were very helpful.

Hi!

I'm considering purchasing a few extra batteries for my Ibook machine but I have a question. On all the mobile phones I've had, I've been able to purchase a desktop charger which has allowed me to charge any extra batteries I have so I can be sure that they're "ready to go" at a moments notice, can desktop charging devices or anything similar be obtained so that spare batteries can be charged?

Also, I'm wondering about bluetooth devices such as bluetooth keyboards, are they difficult to get going with the Ibook? Does the Ibook just detect them as it did with my bluetooth enabled mobile phone? Can bluetooth headphones be used etc?

thanks
