Wlel, I've not yet tried using Omnipage for the Mac but it sounds to  
me as though the sales lady you were talking to didn't know what she  
herself was talking about as I'm sure I've seen many references to  
Omnipage and people trying to use it on-list with voiceOver so, well,  
go figure <smile>
