I've been reviewing ReadIRIS version 11.05 for IRIS for Voice over compatibliity. So far it look to be not bad. In particular if you put it into automatic mode. (command T). They have a ways to go with getting he menued buttons working but everything you can do with those you can do with the menus do it isn't a deal killer.
No Applescript support so I can't write a reading interface for it yet bu if your looking for a decnet OCR program it is work looking into. Greg Kearney
