In order to use it, you need to have an application such as Audio
Hijack which can capture it. I don't know of a way to just unmute the
thing and just yack at it to see what it does. I am not sure if this
is entirely possible even with windows. I could do this with the Alsa
drivers on my Linux box using the Alsamixer program. I have used
Audio Hijack to test the mic and even make recordings and it does
work nicely. The only problem is I would like to be closer so I don't
sound so far off, but this is a limitation of my location in
relationship to the computer itself and not a limitation of the mic.

I made sure that the input device volume was up all the way. Also
I made sure that the default device was the internal mic.

When trying to use it, I get no results.
My machine is an imac.
