Yeah, well I agree,. You don't save or benefit from buying it at Best Buy. I got my Macs from Comp Usa because they have a Mac store inside the store, ah that makes sense. In any case I did that only to take advantage of the no interest option for 18 months...grin Nice to pay over time and pay no interest and hold on to my money instead.

On where to buy Macs, From what I've seen, you are better off if buying a new Mac to buy it through apple. I've seen some not so pretty things happening when buying from best buy in particular. I've bought other products from best buy and had no problems, but others have had issues when buying Macs. I've not done that myself.

I think Best Buy may have had the Mac Mini for a while now. I went to a store in a big city where the Mac Mini was sold. I know it was not the Apple store, and that I was surprised at this product being there.

Scott, You might try your local area Office depot store or Office Max, too. Best Buy is an excellent source, and if you have a Circuit City, that's a good source. I understand Best Buy is goind to carry the Apple line of products, and we're opening another Best Buy store in my area of Anchorage, and that will give us two stores from which to choose.
