You should be able to fix that, I had no trouble in configuring the Mail client to accept a POP3 account of my choice, in fact I have 2 accounts going through the Apple Mail client on my system, both are POP3 but I'm thinking of using Imap.

I haven't used the Mail program that came with Tiger because when I tried to set it up, it gave me the choices of either my local ISP address or a *.mac address. I don't even have a *.mac account, yet when I try to access my local mail from my POP3 local account, I keep getting a message saying, "user name and password are invalid; please try again, or check to make sure your password and user ID are correct." If I don't have a *.mac account, how can I bypass this in order to access my local ISP user account? Hope this makes sense. Richie Gardenhire, Anchorage, Alaska.
