under the metal plate left of the hard drive. take out the small
hidden screw and move the plate out of the way. note that the metal
small screw is kind of hidden and a liittle hard for a blind person
to feel

You'll notice that just to the right of the Escape key and just to
the left of F12, there are timy spring loded tabs. The range of
motion is from back to front, in other words, from the function
keys toward the space bar.
With your finger nails, pull the tabs toward you and lift. The
keyboard will lift up from the back. It's hinged somewhere around
the front near the space bar.

Subject: Upgrading the memory for my Apple Ibook.
Hi!
I have the one gig memory module for the Ibook and I know that you
have to lift the keyboard out to get to the memory slot, I had a
look
for it but couldn't find it. Has anyone done this upgrade before?
What should I look for under the keyboard and where should I look?
Thanks.
