I can't generalize about all KVM switches but I've used Belkin switches with success at home and work. They'll even switche audio in/out.

Hey Hank, I can't answer your question on using a windows keyboard, but if you ever get the chance, check out an Apple keyboard. Not just cause it would be easier, but wow the Apple keyboard that came with all my Macs and of course is available separately is one incredible keyboard. I really love these keyboards and was even considering asking my employer to get me one for the windows machine I'm forced to use at the office. Hey as a side note to anyone reading this. Is there such an animal of a oh geez what do you call those, a switch box that would allow me to connect maybe two or 3 machines and share just the keyboards? Don't much care about the monitor portion of thing, but I'd need one that would allow one ps2 and two usb keyboard. Ah, damn, I can't beleive I can't think of what those are called. I need more coffee.

tnx
