Apple have planned to support braille displays from the outset. At one point, they were looking for someone specifically with braille experience. I ddon't know what came of that.

Hi folks,

I sent a message to the list yesterday, but it doens't seem to have come through.

I am still searching, but am not very hopeful. Unfortunately I do not have the article to hand, but I have e mailed companies here in the JK that make Braille Displays so i am waiting back to hear from them.

if nothing comes of this perhaps we could ask Appple if they intend to support Braille Displays in the future as this would be a great help to many of us.

Best Wishes

I'll keep my ears open

Also, specifically which Alva displays are supported? Mine's one of
the old serial line, but I'd be willing to install a serial or
parallel to USB adapter if it would work.

Care to elaborate on this? Where does one get a driver for os 10 for
an alva braille display? This is the first I've heard of this. Do
you have a pointer to more information?
