I should mention tht on my linux laptop there are indeed capital
letters in the device name, which is /dev/ttyUSB0 and there isn't a
cu device if I remember correctly; not that the difference between
the device names in thee different OSes is a concern; that's normal.
But I am somewha supprised that you have upper case in the device on
your mac and I have lower. In all my google searches they appeared to
be lower case so I never gave it a thought. wonder why that would be?
