If it expires on an individual system, not universally, then kindly  
let me in on the secret.  It told me when I installed it for the  
first time that it expired sometime in 2003 if I remember correctly.   
At the very least it expired in 2004 or 2005.  Kind of not very  
useful if it's already expired when i install it.
As a result of this, I was not able to evaluate it, and have since  
removed it from my system, including the original disk image.  I  
honestly can't remember when it expired, but it was certainly many  
many months before I'd installed it, so I have to disagree that it is  
individual system related.
