You need to become a free member of the ADC group, I guess. You'll
have to search Apple's site to find how, but it can be done.

Hi all.
I am trying to update fink from 10.4-transitional to 10.4 as the
transitional will be discontinued by the end of July. When I
downloaded the tarball with the scripts for updating and started to
run the scripts, I was told that I had to have a version of Xcode
at or above 2.2.1. I had just thought Xcode would be updated with
our other updates. The only way I know of installing it is to use
the macosx installation cd. I googled and found a reference to
version 2.3 but it looked like yo had to become a member of some
group to get it from that site. I'm sure this is a blatantly
ignorant question, but could somebody please tell me how I update
my xcode?
Thanks.
