Yes, I totally agree. As someone who has used Window-Eyes since 1998, I think there should be a switchers guide for Windows users swiching to VO, not just from a JFW point of view.
Correct, but the Jumping the Shark meme is too powerful and clever a pun not to exploit. Maybe it is a visual thing. Does anyone else remember that episode? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jumping_the_shark As I said, I have started us out. Improve the introductory text if you like. Have I addressed concerns that the subject category title might appear to be too narrow? I am of the opinion that, in addition to articles on specific switcher topics, vignettes and war stories of people's first impression and first days with VO would be poignant, interesting, and encouraging to new switchers. This would also be the place for exposition about why you decided to switch in the first place. To use the vernacular from MediaWiki, "Link titles" should only be two or three words at most, not contain punctuation, and use capital letters only in the lead word. I already violated all of these best practice rules with my initial Link title! If you choose to add your "lessons learned" please do so under a unique but short Link title. http://blindtechs.net/wiki/index.php/Jumping_the_Shark !
