Hi Cheryl
You said in your post about VO 2.0 that you used Braille. Are you using a
Braille Display, and if so which one?
Can you access anything else with Braille besides the Terminal application?
Best Wishes
James

On the defect side, I'd like to get rid of those awful "busyignals--
though I realize it's an interaction and not as simple as just fixing vo.
also, I'd like to get rid of gthe silences that happen when going to the
doc or moving between applications that force one to have to
left-and-right-arrow or turn vo off and on to get speech back.
I'd like to see iTunes made accessible, though I understand that much of
this apparently has to be done from the iTunes end instead of the vo end.
I also would like to be able to cut and paste in safari; i'd like to be
able to put something other than applications in the dock, and I'd like
somebody to get to the bottom of why some of us never can get the mouse
to move with ctrl-option-cmd-vokeys.
For me personally vo in terminal isn't as important now that I can use
braille there, but I know that isn't a solution for everybody. I'm sure
there were a lot of things to work on, but i'm still a bit surprised that
the terminal issue wasn't addressed in vo's beta. But I imagine that
there are lots of people who never use the terminal at all and maybe for
that reason it wasn't considered to be very important.
