John, I just started reading about Automater and want to really dig
into Apple Script. I couldn't believe just looking over the Automater
app how incredibly powerful it really is. I mean you can control
Itunes and so much more. If anyone hasn't taken the time, just crack
open the help file and do a little reading and I think you'll be
amazed. There's so much Tiger and the Mac has to offer, I'm always
learning and appreciating wht is available. Hey it might not be
perfect in every way, but its amazing even as is. Damn, I'm sounding
like some sort of convert or something; oh yeah I am, I forgot.

Hello,
This is just a work-around to move files in the Finder using VO,
but it works great - certainly if you are doing a lot of copy-paste-
delete-original to the same folders all the time:
Automator is a great feature of Tiger, and absolutely accessable.
In this case, you can use a Automator script, runned as a stand-
alone app, or runned from Automator itself. You simply select a
folder or file in Finder that you would like to move to a spesific
location, run the script - and the files are moved anywhere you
decide.
There is a lot of other things Automator can do for you until VO is
more capable.... ;-)
Kind regards,
