i was able to get it tork. here's what i did anyway. i went to the bbc 7 page, went to textt only, then to listen again, then to the day i wanted, then i was taken to page that told me about the program and listed others. this where i got confused before. then i looked at the page for a bit and found a link called listen again. when i hit enter on this link the program began playing. don't kow if that's what is supposed to happen but that worked for me.

Here is what I said:

http://software-dl.real.com/164fa5bdd6a752f58117//mac/ RealPlayer10GOLD.dmg

Once installed, open the RealPlayer app and go to the preferences. Click on the Transport button. Navigate to Use Specific UDP Ports checkbox and check it. Then quit RealPlayer.

According to MacFixit, this should work for Intel Macs.

This was in response to your difficulties with RealPlayer. I can't test whether this works as I don't have an Intel Mac.

Hello again Matthew,
To use the Listen Again facility on BBC7, I go to the Listen Again page, tab to the day I want, use VO-keys plus right arrow to move through the grouped items until I find the one I want, interact with the group and click on the link which is the first item in the group. This launches RealPlayer and the programme starts playing almost immediately.

Are you, by any chance, using an Intel Mac? If you are, see my earlier post on making RealPlayer work properly on Intel Macs.
